Cala Llonga

Cala Llonga, the most popular cove in Santa Eulalia

Located halfway between the city of Ibiza and the Santa Eulalia municipality, Cala Llonga is a 180 metre long cove that is characterised by its fine white sand and shallow waters, ideal for enjoying a good swim. Surrounded by lush pine forests and protected by a small bay, Cala Llonga is, without a doubt, one of the best coves on the east coast of Ibiza offering, just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Ibiza, a quiet and relaxed environment, with a large golden arch of sand that is 180 metres long and 100 metres wide.
If you are at the Dorado Ibiza Suites Hotel, you can reach this cove after a few minutes drive along winding roads that line the entire coast, offering spectacular views. If you prefer, you can also choose to take the bus or the ferry that leaves directly from the town of Santa Eulalia, located about 7 kilometres away.

Perfect for sunbathing

Another outstanding aspect of Cala Llonga is its spaciousness, because despite being a little more than 180 metres long, the beach area is very large, exceeding 100 metres in width, making it an ideal cove for practicing different sports activities. In addition, it is a perfect cove for bathing, as the gentle slope of its seabed is complemented by the natural protection offered by a high cliff that extends out to the sea on the left side, giving bathers a peculiar feeling, similar to that obtained when swimming in a shallow estuary.
